IAN Collective Streaming Terms of Service
Welcome to the IAN Collective Streaming Platform. By using this platform, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions. The platform exists to foster creativity, connection, and engagement among streamers, viewers, and contributors.
1.1. Entertainment and Community Interaction
IAN values creative freedom and dynamic community interaction. While users are encouraged to produce content that captures attention, it is essential that such engagement aligns with the community’s standards of conduct. The following guidelines apply:
-
Engagement Content:
Content should be entertaining, captivating, and community-oriented. Light-hearted debates, banter, and on-screen disagreements that are clearly understood as part of a performance or entertainment purpose are permissible. -
Conflict Policy:
While conflicts may arise in the creative process, they must remain within the confines of respectful discourse. Content perceived as illegal or violates contract, will be subject to review and removal. However, each party will have a right to a fair trial.
1.2. Copyright Compliance
All users are required to comply with copyright laws, including the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). Below is a detailed overview of copyright principles relevant to streamers:
-
Fair Use Doctrine:
- Fair use permits limited use of copyrighted material without requiring permission from the rights holder. Examples include commentary, criticism, news reporting, research, and parody.
- However, the transformative nature of the content, the amount used, and its impact on the original work’s market value are critical factors in determining fair use.
